Where are you based?
Animetal is a UK based business with warehouses in London, Osaka and Europe. Even though we operate online we also exhibit in shows and cons around UK and Europe. You can find latest information about the shows we attend on our web site.
How Do I Place an Order?
To shop with us, browse through our product list. Once you find an item(s) you like you can press on the image or description of the item to read more about it and then add it to your basket by clicking the ‘Add to basket’ button or by clicking ‘Add to basket’ button straight from the product list.
- You can see that the item has been added successfully to your ‘Basket’ when the message at the top of the page appears and the total sum and number of items are visible at the upper right hand corner
- You can now continue shopping or hover over your basked and choose to either ‘View Basket’ or ‘Checkout’ in the dropdown Shopping Basket.
- After reviewing your items on the ‘Shopping Basket’ page and adding active e-gift or promotional vouchers you may have, click ‘Proceed to Checkout’.
- Once you reach the checkout page you can either sign into your account if you haven’t already or checkout as a guest. In all cases you will be asked to enter your name, address, and telephone number.
- You can then proceed to choose your preferred mode of payment and enter your payment details.
Do I have to set up an account on Animetal to place an order?
No, to shop on The Animetal you are not required to create an account, but if you do it will enable you to enjoy the following benefits:

Where are the figures imported from?
In order to ensure the quality of our products we import most of our figures directly from Japan since 2007.
The rest of the items that we have in stock are outsourced through official distributors that have been approved by the manufacturing Japanese companies only. This allows us to stock rare and discontinued figures, some of which are 10-20 years of age, as well as the newest items that comes to the market.
Do you do wholesale?
We offer wholesale on a wide selection of products, including contact lenses, Japanese haoris and figures. Please get in touch for more information.
I don’t see the figure I am looking for. Can you get it for me?
Since we import figures from Japan on a monthly basis, we can place a request for your unique figure.
Please get in touch for no commitment to buy quote for a figure you are looking for. No matter how old or rare it is – we would love the challenge!
How long will it take to process and dispatch my order?
All orders are processed within 24 hours.
Products that we currently have in stock in our London warehouse will be dispatched within 24 hours of ordering unless stated otherwise on a product page.
EU warehouse items will be dispatched within 2-5 working days.
Can I track my order?
Yes! Your order is very important! All orders have tracking number, which will be shared with you as soon as the item is sent.
What are the shipping costs?
Delivery charge within UK is FREE when you purchase for £30 and above, using tracked and signed service.
£3 delivery charge will be applied on all orders below £30.
Delivery to Europe/Rest of the world is calculated at checkout according to weight, starting from only £6. You can read more about delivery charges here.
